I think Thresh let Katniss go because when Katnis was helping Rue it made Thresh think that they where even. I think that Peta and Katniss will be the final two because they are usually kind of hiding so they have a better chance of not getting killed.
ReplyDeletei think thresh let katniss go because katniss was in such a terrible place right now and he probably had some empathy for her(please refer to officer scott's report on WWII). he probably has a big crush on her and he can't admit it. i wanted people to ruin the ending for me and they said that katniss and peeeta are the last 2 and they both win the hunger games
ReplyDeleteI think that Tresh let Katniss go because he liked her personality a bit and it might not been worth killing her. He also might of feeled sympathy for Peeta because if Katniss was killed, Peeta would be alone in the arena to fend for himself. I think that the final two people left will be Katniss and Peeta. Just a hunch, main characters never die.

ReplyDeleteI think that Thresh let Katniss go because she cared for Rue and avenged her death. I like how Siobhan put related to the empathy thing in WWII. I know Katniss and Peeta will be the last two tributes because if they died then the readers would get bored. I agree with Richard that main characters don't die. (Usually...)
ReplyDeleteI think that Thresh let Katniss go because he probably felt a little bad for her, and I agree with Siobhan when she said that Thresh probably had some empathy for her. I think that Peeta and Katniss will be the last 2 people. Also, I agree with Jessie and Richard,(main characters usually don't die.)
ReplyDeleteI think Thresh let Katniss go becuase Katniss cared for Rue and that was taken away from. I think thresh sort of feels bad foe her and then let her get even. I actually don't think Thresh will make it to the end but i know that Katniss will becuase that is the person who the story is based on.
ReplyDeleteI think that Thresh let Katniss go because he was close to Rue, and Katniss saved Rue, and they became allies. I think Thresh found it hard to kill someone who actually cared for one of his fellow tributes. I think that Katniss and Peeta will be the last two left. I agree with Jessie

ReplyDeleteI think Thresh let Kattniss let go because katniss and rue have a connection and when rue was killed katniss sang her to death and actully had a connection with rue not just the pretense of being an ally. Thresh probably felt sad that rue died and let katniss go so "they are even" and none of them owes each other anything. So when the time comes for the "final" battle, if thresh stills survives and katniss survives too, they don't have anything to owe each other and they don't have any sympathy for each other.
ReplyDeleteI think that the two people left are katniss and peter but also maybe thresh in the place of petta (I've read the book so I'm trying not to give anything away!) but katniss will defenitly be one of the remainding two because she has a reason to fight now and I think she is strong on the inside and that's what counts.
I think Thresh let Katniss go because he felt sorry for her and wanted to kill the other person.(I think it was Fox Face, Ehren was telling me something and I forgot)

I beleive that trhe reason that Thresh decided to let Katniss go was because Thresh felt sorry for Katniss. In my opinion the 2 remaining people will be Katniss and Peeta because right now they are showing realy affection for eachother and for 1 of them to die would ruin the story.

ReplyDeleteI think Thresh let Katniss go because it seems a little rude even in the games to kill someone who teamed up with someone on your team or side (rue). It just doesn't seem normal. I think the final two will be Katniss and Peeta

ReplyDeleteI think Thresh let Katniss go because of Rue. Thresh could have been Rue's friend and Katniss was helping her. Thresh must have thought that Katniss was a good person for helping Rue. Since Siobhan already gave the ending away, Katniss and Peeta will survive

ReplyDeleteI think Thresh let Katniss go, because Katniss helped Rue out through out most of the game, therefore Thresh felt as if she should do something nice. I have a feeling that Katniss and Peeta will be the last two standing because they are always looking out for each other and I have a feeling they won't turn on each other in the end.

ReplyDeleteI think that Thresh let Katniss go because Katniss took care of Rue and protected her the best she could and cared for her. Thresh probably cared for Rue because if she would have killed Katniss if she didn't care for her. I also think that Katniss and Peta will be the last two standing because they are a good team and they look after each other. I agree with Sarah.
