1) I think a trilogy is a set of 3 books in a series, because "tri" means 3, and there are 3 books in the hunger games series.
ReplyDelete2)Yes, I would have read the books in the Hunger Games trilogy, because from the synopsis on the back, it sounds interesting and it won many awards, which made it sound like a good book. It's like the Twilight series. Once one person reads it, they tell another person, then another person etc...
3) I think there is a good chance of finishing the book this year, because we are almost done the book, and it's November, so we have another month to finish it.

ReplyDelete2. Nah, I don't like reading trilogies, when t heresa a trilogy, I always say it's gonna suck because I only like reading books that has like 10-20 in a series. This way, I can always continue in it and so I never have to find a new series to read.
3. Ya, we have a big chance, we finished The Bad Beginning in a month last year, TBB is like 3X TBB so its only three times the length. The only chance stopping us from finishing the book is something like the school gets shut down, but thats like 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 of a chance out of 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.

ReplyDelete2) I already have so ya i guess, because if it is a series then you know that it will leave you hanging and it would probably be a good series because more books were made.
3)I think that it is a fair chance that we won't finish it because we haven't read a single page in close to 2 weeks but i would like to finish it

ReplyDelete2) I would not read the Hunger Games trilogy because there is a lot of drama and romance in this story. This book is more for teens. I like to read adult books like Tom Clancy's Patriot Games. They seem to have a better plot.
3)There is probably a high chance of finishing Hunger games this year, but that depends on how often we read this book in class. Still, I'm not that sure.

ReplyDelete2) Yes, I would read the Hunger Games trilogy because the Hunger Games is an interesting book and I'm assuming that the 2 other books, Catching Fire and Mocking Jay would be as interesting as the Hunger Games because they are related books.
3) I think that there is a good chance of finishing the book because we are reaching the end of the book and there is still a lot more months left in this school year, so hopefully we can finish the book in a few weeks or before the holidays start.

ReplyDelete2)No I wouldn't read the other books because I think the series is boring and I would stop reading after the first chapter. the book really doesn't apeel(or however you spell it)to me so I wouldn't keep reading.
3)I looked at the bookmark on the book and I saw that we are almost finished.I'd rather have someone spoil the ending than for me to read the series though.(paper route wuz hard 2day.thought I'd never finish

ReplyDelete1. I think that trilogy means something to do with 3 as in math and other words we use have "tri". So like triple, triangle etc... also like wendy said. Now this makes me wonder why the twilight series are called "saga" ?
ReplyDelete2. I think I would keep reading this book and the other books of the hunger games because once you actually get to read it your self you can relate to it. Also when someone reads it too me that person gives me inspiration to keep readiing on. Since I have read the hunger games first book I really like it and i will contine to read the series. The author has done a really good job and really just draws me in.
3. I think we will be able to finish the book by the end of the year because we about 7 months and I have faith we will finsh the book. We just need to read for 10-15 minutes a day and we WILL finsh it.

ReplyDelete2. Mr.P, there is no less then 4 grammar mistakes in your question. I already read the whole trilogy so I can't really answer this question. (By the way it's a really good series.) If I hadn't read the book yet, then my answer would be yes because it's pretty popular at the moment and it just sounds so INTERESTING.
3. I think we're not going to finish the book. I'm probably sounding really negative right now, but it's true!! Here's proof: 1. As Daniel said, we barely read the book. 2. About half the class hates it. 3. If half the class hates it, then there's only a 50% chance we are going to read it, and that 50% chance is lowered to somewhere near 5% because we only get asked to read about two times a month.
A trilogy is three books telling a story, like The Hunger Games books. Yes, I would think about reading The Hunger Games trilogy because they seem interesting and have won some awards. I don't think we will finish the book because Mr.P only reads the book about three times a week, plus the Christmas Holidays are coming, so chances are we won't finish it.

ReplyDelete2. I dont't think that I plan on reading the rest of the trilogy, only because I prefer to just read single novels instead of series. Usually the main character gets boring after a while and I constantly find myself wanting to put the book down, for example Artemis Fowl.
3. There is no way we are going to manage to finish this book. Everytime you, or a supply teacher picks the book up I can only here boos. Also we couldn't finish Jolted last year( IT IS A GOOD BOOK)
Although I could agree with the people who say that there is a lot of time lft to finish the book, although winter break is coming and we could forget about the book.
